ESSAY IN ENGLISH. I wrote about how Yeats' line "A terrible beauty is born" is significant. Then I had to explain the common theme GOOD VS EVIL. ok. LAST ENGLISH CLASS OF THE YEAR!! yay.
WE PLAYED CHEMEOPARDY. And you know what? We lost. We missed two questions in a row, putting us behind 2000 to 2800. DAMN! If only I had said NON POLAR. We ALMOST got the final jeopardy, but it was no use. DAMN, so close.
We simply reviewed in history. Our last history class. Boo hoo. Final hug from George. Ok.
Melinda is getting better at her solo. Ski yelled at Erin for not playing loud enough. The clarinet solo needs work. Usual.

Now let me describe to you this dream I had. I'm naked, in the woods. There's a small brook. I'm holding this clear plastic bag, about the size of a large pillow, that's filled with peas or some green things. The ground is also covered in these peas. So I lay the bag among the green things, camoflouging it. I crawl onto the ground, looking for a 'ring'. I'm in the woods. Beyond it is a pool. Now I'm in a cave, a dry cave filled with sophisticated roots hanging. I see Corey Boyes. These roots are thin frail and delicate. They hang by strings, like little ornaments. It's like a museum in the cave, which is dry dirt all the way around. There's a Golden Rubik's Cube, with each side the same gold color, in a glass case. Neat.
Ok, I'm taking a test. I predict I will fail this test. I think it's in Hrbek's class. I think I'm gonna fail, but I get the highest grade in the class still.
Ok, now I am in some small church auditorium. It is some church financed by some cartoon company. I'm there to play in the instrument band I formed at Chinese school. Ok, now things get weird. I'm in some kind of dark, bar like, recreation center, with a bunch of students, just sitting around playing games. Most have card games. One kid has UNO, another has Double Trouble, etc. I have cards. Several kids are shuffling cards. The room is dark, with a bunch of tables and chairs like a restaraunt. So I shuffle cards. Then there's something to do with a gun being fired at an arm, and sonic the hedgehog. Weird eh?

Final poems of english today. I'm really gonna miss this class. Read some poems by Yeats, Larkin and Hearney. Yeah. I learned that any extra classes count as electives. I tried to go into the guidence room, but Zigler didn't have the keys.
We played chemopardy. I was in team three, which consisted of Me, Camille and Steve Hernandez. We won. We didn't miss a single question. I think we ended with 3700 points. I got some life savers as a prize. Yay.
We took a test today in History! I didn't even know! I didn't even study! oooooh. I heared Andy Z got a C on his test. I picked up ACT testing material.
Melinda can't really play her piccolo solo. We got pep band tonight. Our band didn't practice 'Jungle Boogie', despite the fact that I PRACTICED!!

I had some more weird dreams:
I'm at school, ok. I have a blue locker with a lock. Well, I come to my locker and find that my lock is gone. Almost all the locks on the lockers are gone. For some reason they took them away. At lunch, I sat a table with a bunch of ugly fat girls, but I left and joined Phil's table.
Our laundrey room was remodeled. It was just different. I got his science kit, ok, and it is an insect kit. It has crickets and caterpillars and other paraphernalia. I stuffed the caterpillar into a plastic cocoon, but shook it out. 'Digimon' was on the TV. I plugged my stereo to my PC, so I could listen to music on my PC through the large speakers. Well, all of a sudden I hear this low monotonous sound, and it's my sub woofer. It turns out the main plug was out, but everything kept working, but not right.

Immediatly, after a break, dad came and took us to the Eye Doctor. It turns out my prescription hasn't changed. Ok. Dad then took Frank to the dentist, where he was late 30 minutes. Then he took me home, which leads me to my PC so I can type this up, which is what I am doing right now while listening to Metallica.

Welcome to pep band. We played Ravenna today. God do they suck. The Bleacher Creatures weren't THAT active, but they were still active. Especially after I walk past them, and raise my fist in the air. Adam Roskoph even praised me for being the only flute that played (Nina was there alright). The stepettes were good. I talked with Bobby. Ok. Corey Boyes is going to be in my Physics class next semester. Yay. Looking forward to that one. Our team was winning when I left, 27-13.

It was warmer today. We read poems by Robert Browning in english class. Porphyria's Lover was the best. It's about a woman who was strangled by her lover by her own hair! I worked with Peter Abdalla on a venn diagram.
In chemistry, we worked in groups to create 15 questions to review. We chose three chapters. I chose chapter 4, because it had the oxidation stuff. Phil did chapter 3, and Alec did chapter 8.
To balance redox equations:

Fe2+ + MnO4- ---> Mn2+ + Fe3+
Ox #'s
Fe: +2------>+3
Mn: +7------>+2

Fe2+ ---> Fe3+ + e-
MnO4- + 5e- + 8H+ ---> Mn2+ + 4 H2O
Cancel electrons

And so on. Yeah. I'm thinking about taking AP Calc next year.
This is my theoretical schedule: English 12*, AP Calculus, AP Government, Phys Ed*, 3 Electives.
We discussed Post World War II. NATO, UN, Warsaw Pact, all that good stuff. I learned that I could take AP Gov next year. I might get a '3', which is a 'C'.

"You are preparing for a great battle, without knowing what you are fighting". - Mr Hasinski.
Matt Podmore came to our table and asked me to play rummy with him. I got a meld of nines, and Godinsky played with us. We stopped our game because he saw Mr Diersing.

I finished Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck. It was the best book! I loved it. It had such a moving and heartwarming plot. It was an excellent, outstanding book. Perhaps one of the greatest novels of the 20th century.

Me and Frank went to the library. We saw Corey Boyes working there, but he didn't notice us. I got three books:
The Jungle by Upton Sinclair
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
Jailbird by Kurt Vonnegut.
Frank got Ranma 1/2 #17. So it goes.
I'm reading Catch-22 right now. There's 42 chapters. I'm on chapter 4.

I had a dream where I was at the movie theater (I forgot what movie I saw). I went with dad. The movie was like some cliched alien movie. I left during the middle of it because I thought it was the end. I left the theater. I went outside and saw Frank on his bike. He rode his bike all the way here. Not to see a movie, but to look at the rolercoasters next door. There were other people riding bikes too. I decided to sneak back in the theater. I came out again, and saw mom. An old lady who was apparantly on of the employees, came up to me and told me I had to buy another ticket in order to get in again, because she saw me sneak in. I said I didn't want to go in again. Then she went over to a bunch of guys who were loitering around and told them to leave. Then, we went around the guys and left.

I had bacon, eggs and cereal for breakfast. I found our metronome.

I finished the book TIMEQUAKE by Kurt Vonnegt this afternoon. Frank kept asking to go see Big Fish. It was more of a biography than a story book. There was some humor in it. Ting a ling.

Ahhhhh. Saturday. A nice sunny morning. Ate some ice cream with crackers and cheese. Went on the internet for a while. Ahhhh, Relaxation. Ok. Enough of that. I gotta bring my flute to school AGAIN, and try to convince them to do a musical performence for our Chinese New Year. Chaos. Yeah, that's a good way to describe that day. Well alright.

I had a weird dream last night. I went to my window, and there was this bright green hairy spider on it. It was not big, but no small. On my bed, there was this scary looking spider that was slimy, looked like a crab and had blue on it. It was huge!

VICTORY!. My musical instrument performence idea was accepted! And with much enthusiasm too! I played my flute for the class and the teacher liked it. He decided we should do The Happiness (Xi Yang Yang) and the Chinese Spring Festival Melody! I gave the music to the teacher Feng, so he could make copies. The other class of boys came in our class, while the girls went to learn to sing opera. They wanted to sing opera again. Most kids played the violin. One kid could play the sax, and there were two clarinets. So we're good to go! Next week they will bring their instruments, and I'll get some extra music. We'll have two hours to practice. The kids will have to practice at home.
The teacher gave us our $7 Sun Wu Kong tickets and our $3 meal tickets. Those crappy meals. I told the lady I liked Chinese food and she said I was smart, that American food was the same all the time.
I got a perfect on my practice SAT. 35/35. Frank got 26/35.

Top colleges in US.
Freezing. Freezin cold. It's supposed to snow a lot. In English, we took a latin quiz. "So furtive was the ghostly mirage, that we could hardly detect its presence." Took notes and drew a picture of Lord Alfred Tennyson.
We took our chapter 8 test in Chemistry. I think I did pretty well on it. I microprinted notes onto a 4x6 notecard. Everything I've ever learned.
We finally learned about the World Wars. Yes, Bolsheviks, Lenin, Communists. My favorite. And Nick's too, if he were there. Hehe, Hitler Lives.
Band was usual. I really hate this class. I don't like it when ski stops up every second we make a mistake. It's annoying. But I guess it has to be done.

Yeah. Data.
Colleges. I'm probably going to goto CASE.

It was cold. Snow is still there. Great. Mrs. Pearn handed back my poem Tunguska, saying it was too long for publication. Figures. She said it was good though. I have a 99% A+ in this class. We read some poems by John Keats. Among them, a poem called The Eve of St. Agnes. I got Greg's screenname also. It's untouchable9015@aol.com.
* * *
We got an 18/22 on our lab. All our calculations were wrong. Figures. Today was also the last day of notes. Yay. Here is an interesting reaction. It is the combustion of dimethylhydrazine.

1/2 N2H2(CH3)2 (l) + 2 O2 (g) ---> CO2 (g) + 2 H2O (g) + 1/2 N2 (g)

Just thought I would share that with you.

Hey, I found out I am the most UNpatriotic kid in my history class, along with Nick. On an opinion poll on nationalism, I scored 10 No's and 8 yes's. That means I am unnationalistic. I thought the soviets should have landed on the moon. I don't want Americans to win the Olympics. I don't want the Pledge of Alliegence. I want to burn the flag. Ok, enough.
I remember yesterday, Nicki came to our table and asked me to sign a petition to bring back Arena Scheduling, because for some reason they are taking it away. I don't care. I don't want Arena. So I didn't sign. She was like: "ROOOOOOBIIIIIN!!!".
Some girls came and sold us some Shout Outs. Two kids shouted out "I love you" to each other.
Ski was back in band. Thank GOD!. I almost had to play the solo, but Erin came back, THANK GOD! Today was an ok rehearsal, except for Ashley who had to sit in the front, and for some black kid who got kicked out for literally doing nothing. We reviewed our Exam test. Pretty easy. But do I actually have to DRAW the notes out Mrs. Pahner?

"What we imagine is greater than reality."
