Robin's Journal
My poetry site has been hit a total of 69 times so far. Because of some negative reviews, I have removed my Email and altered the website slightly. I am also going to stop publicizing it because of all the negative and pessimistic content I have on it. That may be too late though. When I woke up, I had some cereal for breakfast. I was talking about MP3 players and ipods. I ate another hamburger for lunch. When mom told frank to clean the kitchen, he said I should do it because I had broken his glasses and I made a 'promise'. So I hit him again in the glasses. Mom got mad. We went out, first to Petsmart and then to the Aurora outlet store. I instant messaged dad from my cel phone. Mom bought some new shoes from easyspirit. I went to the Bose store, where they had cool headphones. I ate some pizza at Mamma Ilardo's. They're soda is a little concentrated though. We came home. I saw a special on TV about the Ebola virus. Very interesting. I drew a comic about the Ebola virus.
Wow. It was totally white this morning. It was snowing hard. White mimi was on my bed, annoying me to death.
Mom was watching some of our old tapes, of us when we were babies. She thought she had erased one of the tapes. We were worried for a second. I discovered that the tape was just fine. I also learned that if you remove the little black tab, the tape is unrecordable. Frank created a screen name on AIM:
frankhu2.
I had two burgers for lunch. Mom made her own salad dressing.
I went outside and shoveled some snow. First day, and war broke out.
I added a new page to my website: a biography page. About 8 people have seen my site so far. I am still trying to publicize it. UPDATE: As of right now, my site was viewed
27 times.
I did some research into
Tintoretto. He was such a profound painter during the renaissance. His paintings had color and energy as well as life. I was studying his famous
Crucifixion painting, which hangs at Scuola in San Rocco Venice. Such power. SUCH LIFE!! You can almost feel Christ's pain and despair as he is being crucified. Not much emphasis is placed on stigmata though. A Halo is present around his head, signifying importance and dominance. It is truly an amazing painting of Christ's last days.
We watched some more home movies. Frank is doing his
Super Electric Chair routine.
I got up at 9:30. Worked on my website. Helped Dean with his crappy site. His new site is at
nascar.250x.com. I foiled his plan to get nascar.50g.com. I touched up my
poetry site. I added tiny pictures to the links, so when your mouse moves over the link, the picture changes. Added an Archive section. I added Random Quotes. I also added a
Favicon, which is a hammer and sickle. So far, 4 people have seen my site, despite my attempts to publicize it.
I had pizza for lunch. Frank was trying to take my food. If he takes anymore food from me, I am going to starve!
We went to beachwood mall. Man that place is jam packed. They had a guy playing the piano at Nordstrom. There was a small jazz band playing in the mall. I remember the Bose store, where they had a bunch of sound systems. They had a small theater room, where it turns out those huge speakers were really tiny ones. I also got a look at an apple iPod. It's pretty sweet. They had awesome headphones. In the end, all we bought was a butter holder, a measuring cup and a brush. We took a spin around Legacy Village. Then we came home.
We had noodles for dinner. I went to some chat rooms to help spread word of my site. I posted stuff on Google's Groups and even tried joining webrings.
I put Sierra Mist in the freezer and made slush. It snowed so much today!! Even as I write, the snow is piling. Today is the first day of true snow!
I was at a Chat Room all last night. Dean wanted me to help publicize his website, nascarfan710, so me and him went to a yahoo chatroom and started to promote it. Didn't seem like anyone cared. Supposedly, a person named Brown_racer18m called Dean a fag, so I called him gay. Then he said he was straight and his wife could whoop my ass. Then I said "I know where you live". Then I just left and turned off the PC.
I made a new site. Apparantly, eSmartStart.com doesn't have FTP running right now for new users. I create an account named Poetry (surprised it wasn't taken). I made a new site featuring all my poems. It's at poetry.50g.com. There are a lot of communist symbols.
Mom wanted me to search for Voice Recognition software for her factory.
Frank started watching Lord of the Rings, much to my protest.
We are having homemade pizza for Thanksgiving dinner. I made the dough: 2 parts water, some salt, sugar, and yeast, 4 parts flour and that's it.
First day of Thanksgiving break! I get up at around 8:30 and eat some garlic bread for breakfast. I got out side and smash some ice. Turns out the Soviets and Aryans are still at war. The war ended today with the Soviets victorious! The ice war lasted only a day. No more wars from now on.
I talked with Dean Vecchio. His website didn't have music so I fixed it. He didn't have a folder so I created one and uploaded his Nascar song to his nascarfan710 website on tripod. He officially declared us Rivals. So then I go eat lunch, which is just bagel bites. Me and Frank just sit around and listen to music and watch some trailers. I gave him some math problems. I submitted an answer to a weekly math problem on the Mathforum.
I tried reading Lord of the Flies, but then Dean IMs me again. This time accusing me of signing onto his AIM account when I DIDN'T! It's so cool now: You can sign onto the same screenname from two different locations! You get a message from AOL Sys Manager saying you are signed onto X locations.
Anyway, I continue to read Lord of the Flies, which is a surprisingly easy read. I already read the first two chapters. It's kind of interesting, considering its just a bunch of kids trapped on an island, with some nerdy little fat kid. This should be a VERY interesting book. I can see why this book was banned.Mom went shopping and got a bunch of food. She got a pizza and we had pizza for dinner. I didn't find my lost ping pong paddle. Someone must have took it. I was practicing hitting the ball against the wall when I accidentally hit Frank in the glasses. He was kind of pissed. We played a game of ping pong where I won. Frank went to the library and got some Ranma manga and some CDs, which include Snatch, X2 and Braveheart. Dad installed AIM on his PC downstairs.
Ooooh it was cold. I found out our bus driver's name is Mrs. Trolop, or Mrs. K.
English: I submitted my TUNGUSKA poem. The newspaper came out today though, but not one of my poems were published. Frank had his own little section. He likes "Fried rice because its Chinese and I'm Chinese." They even had a picture of a bowl of rice and chopstix.
I took a test in English. Oh, I think I failed it. I missed so many questions. We started reading Lord of the Flies.
Chem: YEAH! We watched a movie: Flubber.
Some jokes: A teacher tells a student that he cheated on a test. Turns out, for an answer, one kid said "I don't Know" and the other kid said "me neither".
A mushroom walks into a bar and the bartender says "We don't serve your kind." The mushroom says, "hey that's okay, I'm a fun guy!"
We watched another movie in history class: Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Oh man it was hilarious. The guy was getting his limbs chopped off. The monks were jumping off a plank. It was funny as hell.
Band: Pahner directed again. Band is same old. Played music. Frank went to the library.
I saw the movie
Lagaan. What an amazing movie. It tells the story of how an Indian village defeats the British in a game of cricket. They sang and danced. It truly was a great movie. I give it 10/10.
It was kind of warm this morning.
English: We played a game of jeopardy. My team was called "Left Side" while the other was called "East Side". We immediately got the lead in the beginning. The group always asked me for help on the questions. Sylphs and Augustan (which was wrong). I answered "Enlightment" on my only turn. The other side was losing badly. The score was like 5300 to 2850. There was a final question. Our team wagered 401 points and the other team wagered it all. Question: How did Samuel Johnson comeup with the definitions for his dictionary. Well, he read the works of other writers. Both teams got it right. Our team won by a point. We got three bonus points.
Chemistry: Resonance forms and Lewis Structures:
NO+
[ :N--O: ] +
History:Interesting:
At weddings, the bride would carry flowers to hide the smell because people never took baths. Sometimes, bath water was so dirty, babies were accidentally thrown out.
Animals would live on the roofs of homes and when it rained, they slipped and fell. Hence the saying: "It's raining cats and dogs."
Poor people had dirt floors in their homes. Hence the term: "Dirt Poor".
People wanted to show off their bacon in their homes by haning them. When guests came over, they took a small piece of the pork and "chewed the fat".
Acid from tomatoes would cause lead to form on plates, thus people thought tomatoes were poisonous.
Band: Pahner directed for most of the period. She thought I was being funny on my flute, but she was mistaken.
I got my SAT scores in the mail. They're still the same: Verbal: 530 Math: 680.
It snowed today, despite the fact that it was 60 degrees this morning.I added two parts to my Tunguska poem:
Out of this World (about UFOs) and
Search for Answers (conclusion).
AHHRHGHHH!!! SH*T!!! Left my paddle at the rec. Gonna shoot myself!!! Hope they have it at the lost and found. I was practicing hitting the ball off a wall. Mom can do it really good.
I had a dream. Apparantly, my computer got a virus while downloading something from KaZaA. It slowed my computer down to a halt. When I tried restarting my PC (by pulling out the plug), the problem just got worse. There would be popups saying stupid things and one pop up even came up sideways. So I decide to find a virus removal software. Mom bought one from the store, but apparantly it was not the right kind for my PC. It came with some sort of square antenna, supposed to improve your connection signal. I went on dad's PC and went to symantec.com but I accidentally enter a porn site and it freezes the PC. I remember the virus was called El Dogkeeper. It disabled my task manager. Some how, I was able to get rid of it.Strange: I have this hair growing out of the middle of my forehead. It's like an inch and a half long.
The newspaper got rid of the Rudy Park comic and replaced it with Opus.
I took a Practice math SAT online. I missed about 3 questions so I got a 91%. Me, Frank and Mom discussed probabitlity questions, such as: If a drawer has 40 black socks and 50 red socks, how many would you have to pick randomly to get a pair? Three(3) of course.
If 10 out of 100 machine parts is defective, what is the probabitlity of picking 2 defective parts at random from those 100? Answer: The chance of getting a defective for the first one is 10/100, and for the second, its 9/99. Multiply those together to get 1/110.
What is the probability of getting all heads or tails when three coins are flipped at the same time? Out of 8 combinations, 2 are all heads or tails. So the probability is 1/4.
Interesting facts:
Hitler's mother was going to have an abortion but was talked out of it by her doctor!
There were 22 Hitlers in the New York phone book before WWII. There were none after the war.
Termites work faster when listening to heavy metal music.
There are 2500 left handed people killed each year by using right handed products.
3000 cows are needed to supply the NFL with enough footballs for a year.
Recycling one jar saves enough energy to watch another 3 hours of TV.
Okay, we went to Westfield mall today. I got a shirt from JC Penny. We went to Brookstone and some other stores. We went to eat at the Great Steak and Potato. Frank spilled the French Fries. What an idiot. I remember at Brookstone, the lady over there gave us a demonstration of the cork skrew.
I am continuing my documentary poem
Tunguska. I added different parts to it. So far, there are three parts:
Bright Night talks about the actual incident at Tunguska.
Tesla's Death Ray gives a more controversial theory to the incident.
The Meteor explains the most accepted comet theory of the event.
I even added footnotes to the thing because I thought people would not understand it. If this fails, then I will retire from poetry forever (not exactly!).
Morning: Got up at 8, and had some pizza for breakfast. Watched some Yu Gi Oh. Listened to some music. Looked up some stuff about World War II and alternate histories. Ate Bagel bites and pizza for lunch.
Chinese School: Me and Frank enter through the back. In class we learned about Marie Curie. The teacher talked about buses in China.
In SAT, I got a 22/25 on my quiz. I didn't realize a pentagon has 540 degrees instead of 720. Also, here's a problem I had:
xy > 0
yz < 0
Is xz greater or less than 0?
Think: if
y is positive (+), then x is positive and z is negative. This means that xz is negative.
If y is negative (-), then x must also be negative and z is positive. Thus, xz is always negative.
We went to Heinens. I saw Jacob from english class there. A lot of kids from school work there. I saw Bobby and Lindsey Flenner. Frank got $7 worth of sushi and mom got some plum wine.
English: Me and my buddies worked on some latin bases, comma usage and study guide worksheets. Hey, I found out Ahsan and Ali sit with Dean Vecchio. They hate him and say they just want to punch him. Ahsan took my study guide to copy it. He gave it back after second block.
Chemistry: Why God, WHY??? I'm still atheist. Notes and work. We learned about covalent bonds.
History: Well, we talked about the Middle ages and saw a video about kings and feudalism and the crusades in medieval europe. Yeah, the Crusades. The Children's Crusade is my favorite. I was assigned to give an oral report about Tintoretto.
Band: Ooooh, I finally Play tested today! Right now, above me is Amanda and below me is Mariah. Oh I screwed up on the play test, but it wasn't so bad. I really messed up on the trills. I'm about to hang myself. I predict I might go down a seat, but not many flutes play that good.
There was another battle today! Aryans versus the Soviets. The soviets clearly outnumbered the aryans. The aryans held the Stalingrad fort and were fighting to defend it from the invading Soviets. Eventually, the aryans were defeated by the much larger Soviet army. The remaining aryan soldiers were executed.
I'm working on my new poem Science of the Tree and I may write a poem about Tunguska, since Pearn said my poems have not yet been published!! Two other girls had their stuff published, but not mine! My stuff must be too controversial.Remember,
David Bloom, Geraldo Rivera and Barry Peeper.
OOooooooOOOooooooOOOOOOOOOooooh. I just got diarreah. Crapped my pants. Sat at the toilet for an hour. Damn. About to shoot myself here.
I just discovered something really neat! Several of my CD's had tracks that would skip. It was usually on the last song. Well, I found out that if I play the CD on my computer, it fixes the problem! Somehow, the CD-RW on my PC can repair a CD! I have now saved my "corrupt" CDs!
Frank got the
Ranma Vol 2 and
Evangelion vol 6 manga.
English: For the whole period me and my foreign exchange buddies read a story by
Paul Bunyan. It was called
The Pilgrim's Progress. We thought some parts were funny. There was a funny picture of some guy with a lump on his back. Yeah, I got a 50/50 on my "Starve the Americans" satire. I think my visual was too anti American though. Ahsan wrote one on how to get rid of Old people. His visual was funny: Two pictures of old people.
Chem: We took a test. I doubt I got perfect on this one, since I missed the question about the Palori Exclusion.
History: We took a test on chapter 13, the middle ages. I got a 94%.
Band: We still didn't play test. We got a new piece of music:
Christmas Finale.
Hey, it didn't know Dawn and his brother Andrew smoked. Dawn just pulled out a box of cigarettes on the bus, though she didn't smoke. The b*tch.
Some girl, Nicole Rhody, steals Playstations and sells them. David Diccico was really pissed.
I saw the very inaccurate, patriotic and violent film
We Were Soldiers. Could this movie get any absurd? The American soldiers can somehow magically dodge bullets, while they shoot aimlessly at the VietCong and hit their targets. So unreal. Only because of this "idealistic" war reinactment will I give this movie an 8/10.
Frank is doing some studying about World War I, the "Great War", or "The War to End all Wars".
English: Read Boswell. Me, Ahsan and Ali worked together again.
Chem: NOTES AND WoRK!!
History: Well, if I was awake I might know what we talked about. Probably stuff about the pope and kings of Medieval europe.
Band: We didn't playtest! Stephanie Police wanted me to join her an Marissa in an Ensemble. I declined. I won't comment on why.
I rode bus 14 home for the first time in months. Man, it has changed. I found a Red Uni-Ball
Vision on the bus.
I'm doing more research into the
paranormal. Some topics include:
Tungunska, Sky Rods and Monsters. Tesla's death ray is also intriguing. The Jonestown Mass Suicide. Frank got the Ranma manga from the library. I wanted to get War and Peace but I was too boring. I also looked at Marx.
English: We read stuff by Thomas Gray. Interesting. Half the class was sleeping.
Chem: I got a 20/20 on my note book quiz, but a 7/10 on my crappy graphic organizer.
History: We did some work on document based writing. Talked about the church and feudal system.
Band: We DID NOT play test! Christina Mcgowan did something kind of funny which got me laughing the rest of the block.
Man, racism is on the rise. I think I'll ride bus 14 tomorrow.
Turns out Dean vecchio is against the Death penalt AND abortion. I am FOR both of those things. He doesn't like abortion, yet he thinks humans should "die", because he likes animals. Kind of conratdictory there Dean.
English: We read about an author named
Samuel Johnson, who wrote an early dictionary. Me, Ahsan and Ali then got in a group and made up our own definitions. I then read a boring passage about Shakespeare.
Chemistry: We learned about Electron Configuration. We did a cool lab too. We got to use BUNSEN BURNERS!! YES! I worked with Alec and Phil. We took splinters of wood soaked in an element such as Calcium and we burned them and noted the color of the flame. Yeah, the tongs would sizzle in the water. It was fun. Alec kept playing with the flame.
History: We played a board game for the entire period. Me, Nick Bryant, Pat Adair and Clavin Boyd were in a group. There was a board game where we each had a paper clip for a marker. Each player rolled dice and moved their pieces. The squares determined if you lost points or not. Clavin won.
Band: We didn't play test today. 99% it's tomorrow. Man, Stephanie Police makes a lot of mistakes. More than ME!!
Frank worked all last night on a
Rock Boat. He went outside and took a bunch of pebbles and glued them to a cup. He then took it off in the morning. Amazingly, he said it floated! He got like a 45/50. Frank procrastinates too much.
After school, me and Frank went to the dentist. The dentist said I was grinding my teeth and my gums were bleeding. They took some X-rays. I need to floss more. I agree. My teeth suck. I even saw a video on how to floss.
We then went to North Randall to fix Frank's new glasses. After that, me and mom went to Sam's to get some stuff. Yeah, I got some Bagel Bites.
I beat Frank 3 games out of 3 in ping pong today.

I tossed out my old blue retainer case. The thing was all moldy and grimey...AND I was still putting my retainer in that thing! The plaque was all growing on it. It was sick. I just threw it away. I'm just going to place my retainer in a glass from now on.
I had a very realistic dream. I was in the band room. I think there was some sort of playtest. The students who could not play well were tied up and put into the instrument storage room, where they were kept prisoner. I was among the vanquished. There was a kind of competition where they went around each person and determined who should go out and play in the band. I was the first to go. My cage had a golden key lock on it. I found mom's wallet in my locker and found at least $70 (one $20 bill and one $50 bill). I saw Kelly Richardson and Leah Gay in the first row. When I was first getting out of the locker room, someone (a band officer) saw my cage open and asked why. I said It was because it was my turn to go out and play. To sneak the $70 out, I rolled it up and put it inside my flute!
Switch scenes. We're in a lunch room, maybe our school lunch room. It's really dark. There is some sort of system, where each table has their own online chatting room. I somehow hacked into Sweetie1149's chat room. The font was in bright white and the background was yellow. They talked about what the Rising Sun of Japan was supposed to represent. Weird, they had links to stuff about Ranma 1/2. I kept getting annoying yellow popups.
Switch. I'm in the air looking down on a theme park. There are sophisticated roller coasters. One of them resembled a huge slide, where groups of people slid down AT once!! The slide was yellow in color, but the day was very gloomy and it was close to night time. On that SAME slide there was a branch where more people slid down. There were too exits and when a group of people went down the wrong exit, there was a camera that took a picture of them. I saw Andy Zavarella. Me and Andy talked for a while.
Back to the Band Room. I'm in the locker room and there is a BEAR in one of the large cages!! It's trying to get out. The lock on the cage is broken so I am trying to push the cage door preventing the BEAR from escaping. I even try using a stick! I eventually run away. I'm wearing my leather jacket for some reason. The bear then roams the school and everyone is running around, including me! I run into some empty classrooms where I hide behind the doors. I went into one room and another kid came in as well. It was just us too. He told me to keep quiet and stuff. I was hiding behind the desk. Some more kids came in. They were black kids. One was driving a some kind of tracter and doing wheelys on it. That's all I remember.
I saw the
Matrix Revolutions today. Not bad. It was pretty entertaining. The Matrix was entertaining and the Special FX were impressive. Overall, I thought the beginning was slow and some of the characters didn't get enough screen time. The battle for Zion was very thrilling. I liked the final fight scene between Neo and Smith. Yeah, it was cool. I'll give the Matrix Revolutions a 9/10.
I downloaded a bunch of songs from WinMX today. I made a new Punk Rock CD. This CD features the famous
Dropkick Murphys and well as some other new artists. It starts with a powerful intro by
Kid Rock. Then, it features some New Age:
Polyphonic Spree and the Pogues. From there, it's just punk. The CD has new music from
AFI and
Zebrahead. It ends with
All-American Rejects and their "Last Song".
I got a 36/39 on my last practice SAT test.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! My SAT results are online!!! Here are the scores:
Math: 680 91% Percentile
Verbal: 530 57% Percentile.
That means my total score is
1210!!!!
Well, you know what that means...I'm going to hang myself!! Ali is a little scared at looking at his score.
English: We had a sub. We took a quiz and watche Gulliver's Travels.
Chemistry: Notes. AND CLASSWORK!! Electron Configuration:
6C - 1s22s22p2History: We learned some stuff about Medieval Europe.
Band: Yeah, music.
Man it was freezing this morning! There were huge wind gusts and there was even snow! Even right now at night, those winds are blowing really hard. I found out Dean Vecchio works everyday till 8. Hard worker.
English: I submitted my four biographies to Mrs. Pearn. Today, we read Gulliver's Travels and watched the movie starring Ted Danson. Some kids came in promoting the Mix it up program, where you sit at a different lunch table and get to know someone else. I decided not to sign up.
Chemistry: I got a 102% on my test. It was PERFECT. We took a notebook quiz. Yeah, that was it. We're learning about these Quantum Numbers. It's really confusing. It's something like this:
n = 1,2,3,4...
L = 0,1,2,3...
mL = -L ... -1, 0 , 1... L
ms = -1/2 or 1/2
History: We took our Chapter 12 test. I got a
93% on it. I predicted I would miss about 3 or 4. I missed 3.
I actually had a dream last night, where I took a test and got like a 50% on it. The test was on a computer.
Band: Flutes DID NOT play test today. Mr Hudak came in and gave out the prizes for the Gold Cards. Martin Williams got $25. There was a raffle, where they would draw tickets and eliminate people. The last five standing would get a choice of either splitting the money or to "GO FOR IT!". Well, Adam Roskoph was the last one standing, so he got $150. I sold one gold card...and that was to my self!
Tomorrow I will see my SAT scores online. I predict I will score between 1200 and 1300. I think I did poorly on the Verbal section, but I might have aced the Math section. That would probably give me somewhere from 1250 to 1300. I think the average is about 1000. I probably scored above that thanks to the Math.
I picked up my mousetrap car from Hrbek's room. He wasn't in there at the time. I just went in, took my car, and left.
English: Whoa. I didn't know there'd be a tug o' war between Ali and Peter, with me being the rope! I worked with Peter, but apparantly it made Ali kind of jealous. Hey, did you know that in Chinese, "city" and "wall" are the same word? We read
Gulliver's Travels too. I handed in my two poems:
How to Survive Nuclear War and
A Theist. The former is the most controversial. I DOUBT it will be published.
Chemistry: Notes. Classwork. Period.
Histroy: In China, Red represents prosperity, while White represents death. Brandon Vondrak tried desperately to say "I want to drink tea" in Chinese. Test tomorrow. I'm gonna fail.
Band: Played music. Our playtest MIGHT be tomorrow. I'm not sure.
I just finished my new poem
Gauss's Gift, a poem about the great mathematician Karl Gauss! It tells the story of how he added the numbers from 1 to 100. The process was like this:
n = 1+2+3...100
n = 100+99+98...1
2n = 101+101....101 = 100 (101)
n = 50 (101) = 50 (100+1) = 5000 + 50 = 5050My next poem is going to be called
Mao's Legacy: A New China.
Well, a lot of things happened at the Fitness Center today. First, today was very windy and there was some rain and thunder, but not much. I kid (Brandon was his name I think) about 8 or 9 came and asked to play. So we let him. Turns out he's a beginner. So like always, me and Frank tried to teach the kid the game. He even beat Frank a few times!
Then, Alex Davis came, with his friend. Oh God. I am going to lose. That's what both sides thought. Well, the games were fierce and they were really close. Alex had fast balls, and me...well, I had strategic ones. I tried doing my alternating trick and my spin trick. Alex usually got a ball into the corner. 90% of his spikes didn't even make it. I missed alot of balls too. During the third game, I was already tired out. He said he was currently beating me gamewise (He won six games, while I won 4). Today, I beat him, 2 games out of three. I am really going to have to practice hard!
I searched the net for
Gary Locke. I just had to know who he was!!
English: Hey, guess what?
Frank likes Chinese fried rice, because he's Chinese! Seriously though, I already wrote my two poems
Marx's Last Words and Hitler: Man of the Century. I think they may be too controversial. Oh well. At least I wrote SOMETHING. We read the rest of Pope's
Rape of the Lock. Hey, turns out Greg Linehan works at
Gamestop next to Sixflags. And they sell old NES games too!! I'm gonna go check it out.
Chemistry: Notes. Homework. End.
History: Mooooooooongooooools. Mongols. Kublai Kahn and Genghis Kahn. Why do Americans pronounce
Yuan like
Won?
Band: Played some music. I think the flutes are doing play tests tomorrow. There is a strong chance.
Frank went to the library to get some more manga. He got Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop. Man, I read the Evagelion in like 15 minutes. Not bad. Pretty entertaining. Those Japanese sure know how to entertain.
I'm going to continue on my Famous Biographies series. I'm also going to write a poem on
How to Win [Survive] Nuclear War.
English: It was fricken cold. I read something about the plague in London. We read something by Alexander Pope. Uhhhh. The Rape of The Lock. Yeah. Me and Ali worked on some Latin Bases.
Chemistry: We took a test. EXCITING WAS IT! I was the first person to turn it in. I didn't even work that fast.
History: Ooooooooooh. China again. Americans can't pronounce the words. Oh well, unlike last time, I don't really care anymore. I mean, what the hell can I do, they'll never pronounce it right even if I say it in their ear a hundred times. You know, it's kind of hard to watch a video when a quarter of the class is talking during it. YOU Don't have to make a god damned comment every second! By the way, I'm Atheist. There was a brief section about Mao ZeDong; it was the only thing I really watched. I'm thinking about writing poems about famous people. I answered a problem wrong. Turns out the Sui dynasty DID NOT defeat the Turks; it was the Tang. OOooooops. But, then again, I really don't care.
Wow, band was interesting. Same old. Same old crap. I just sat there for 1.5 hours. Time went by, and I didn't even notice it. DO NOT JOIN BAND!!!!! I cannnot emphasize this enough. I know I am going to have second thoughts.
DO NOT JOIN BAND!. I have to keep reminding my self.
There was ice this morning. I made some lemonade too.
I connected the wireless adapter to the living room PC, so now the living room has internet. Frank's computer is absolute crap.
I'm about to make a CD cover for my new CD.
Mom went to RadioShack to buy a battery for my watch.
I had to look for instructions online for how to operate Frank's retarded Casio AW35 watch.
It's snowing. I saw a snowflake. First snow of the season.
I had a weird dream. I was having a baby and the baby turned out to be a cat, which looked like grey mimi. The cat grew up very fast.
Man, we had homemade pizza for lunch. Oh man, it was so good. It had garlic and tomatoes and onions. Awesome.
Went to Chinese school where we learned some stuff about
Tolstoy.
I got a 31/40 on my practice SAT test. My 'communist' buddy got a 34.
I'm downloading a bunch of punk songs. Got stuff from
Bad Religion, Mest, Flogging Molly, Dropkick murphys, Anti Flag, Billy Talent, Dead Kennedys and moreThe whole reason I am making another punk CD, is because I noticed that on my previous CD, AFI's
Bleed Black skipped on my track. The error was small, but annoying. So I am making another CD, this time with a shorter record speed.
Just saw the film
Road to Perdition. Not bad. A little slow in the beginning, but the end blew me away. A lot of people died in this movie. I'll give it 9/10, only because the beginning was a little boring.
Yeah, I woke up at around 10 today. Our internet is stupid; why can't a just get a decent connection! I have to reconfigure everything in order to get this thing to work.
Last night, I wrote a poem about
Atheism and I titled it
A Theist. Basically, it talks about someone who doesn't believe in God and what his views on religion were. You can view the poem
HERE. Frank told me it would be controversial. If they publish it, they're going to have to publish it under a pseudonym (pen name).
I downloaded a bunch of punk rock. I got everything from AFI to the Dropkick Murphys. This CD is going to rock and suck at the same time.
English: Took our latin bases quiz. The bonus was "Who wrote
A Modest Proposal?" SWIFT! Duh. We then worked on our own satires. Yeah, I peer edited Greg's. He wrote about Eating Disorders and he thought that by taking skinny people and shoving food in their mouths, it would solve the problem. I say
STARVE THE AMERICANS!. For my image, I just made a collage, with an inverted torn up flag. Kind of controversial, don't you think? I want to do controversial stuff.
I'm not even going to say what we did in Chemistry. All I remember, was getting stuck on question F in the review.
Took a test in history. I got a 93. It wasn't the highest grade though. Brandon Vondrak somehow got higher. Oh well. I don't really care anymore. I'm getting to the point where I just don't care about stuff. We are learning about Asia again. Sui, Tang and Sung dynasties.
Played music in band. I didn't say a single word. Good.
I just finished watching the anime
AKIRA. Our DVD player sucks, so it kept skipping. It was an awesome film. Very grotesque and violent. Some philosophy. It's a classic sci-fi movie. I didn't like some of the violence. It was a little confusing as well. I give this movie 8/10.
I took my band uniform back to school. I'm in band both semesters, I am NOT going on the trip and the cleaning fee will be taken out of my Tag Day account.
English: We read a satire by Swift called
A Modest Proposal, about how cannibalism could solve the issue of child over population in Ireland. We then had to write our own satire on an issue. First, I thought about
Obesity and how starving Americans would solve the problem. I finally decided to look at
Wasting Food. Americans waste so much food, while other countries can barely feed themselves. If we starve Americans, they will learn to cherish their food. NEVER WASTE FOOD!!!!!
Chemistry: OH GOD!!!! I'm about to kill myself; this class is so fricken boring!! Okay,
Kinetic Energy of Gases. It's useless.
u = (3RT/M)1/2
R = 8.31x103 (g*m2) / (s2*K*mol)
Yamila Grioni got caught with gum AGAIN!! In the second half of class, Denges even kicked her out for talking. Man, Denges can sure be mean sometimes. She doesn't seem biased either. Nick Bryant asked what my "Religous Affiliation" was. I told him
I AM OFFICIALLY ATHEIST. He shook my hand, and smiled! "So am I."
I am so atheist, that I make
atheists look religious.
We just played music in band. Once again Ski kicked some people out, this time it was Jeff Miller. ooooooooooooooo this season is going to be long.
Let me describe a dream I had. It's like this science center, with hardly anyone there. It's like a labyrinth, a very fancy one. The walls move and they move in a complex and symmetrical way. They are really shiny and smooth. They're giant blocks of marble moving very smoothly. They move to reveal stairs underground. When I enter the room, the blocks start moving. I'm trying to find my way out. The room is carpeted. I've had this dream twice. It's very eerie.
I brought my Zip 100 disk so I could copy my P drive. Turns out my P drive is over 100 MB. I'm going to have to bring my disk twice. I used the PC in Pearn's class. In english, we took a quiz on the Restoration. I did pretty good on it, especially since I got to use my book.
In Chemistry, we simply took notes on Dalton's law:
Ptotal = PA + PB
Mrs. Denges didn't get very mad today. I was shocked. We were terrible for the sub. She just shook it off. We just talked about Islam for a while and saw a short film.
In Band, we began to play our Christmas music. Songs include "Sleigh Ride (urrr), Sounds of Christmas, Winter's Eve, and more". I'm wearing my new glasses. They make my eyes sore. I haven't worn them in a year.
I don't believe it. Frank borrowed from the library the movies: "Road to Perdition, Castle in the Sky, and
AKIRA!" He also borrowed the
Evangelion manga!
WOW. I just saw the film Castle in the Sky, by Miyazaki!! An amazing film, telling the story of a magical floating castle and quest to find it! You'll laugh, you'll cry and you will cheer as this extraordinary film takes you into a fantastical world of magic! I definitely give this movie a 10/10!!
I have seen nearly all of Miyazaki's films, except for Totoro. I think all of them are excellent. But I really want to see that new film from Madhouse, called Millenium Actress. That should be really neat.
English: Read a poem, and worked in groups on some questions. Ali is going to graduate this year. Didn't know that.
Chemistry: Ooooooh, took notes. Did a worksheet. That's it.
History: Okay, we had sub today because Denges had to goto Washington DC. Chaos would be a god term to describe class today. Our sub had the most annoying voice ever. Everyone just talked and laughed. Some kids even threw spit balls on the wall. Brandon kept making funny noises. I was probably the only sane person in that room. American kids are so bad. We talked about Islam, but apparantly no one cares. I told the sub "Don't forget to write the bad report.".
BAND: CONCERT BAND STARTED TODAY. There's like 20 flutes, mostly from drill team. I AM
NOT JOINING BAND NEXT YEAR. I sit about 6 seats from the number one flute. At least I am not the worst flute, although I have been know to flucuate after play tests. I have to remind myself:
DO NOT JOIN BAND!.

I took the SAT I test this morning. It was three hours long. I met a kid named Leroy. Yeah, he was cool. We talked for a while. The math was pretty easy, but the English was really hard. Like, it was impossible. I guessed on a lot of questions. I might have gotten a near perfect on the math, thanks to my SAT class. I walked around, and called Frank a couple times until Mom came. She went shopping and we had sandwiches for lunch. She also brought donuts.
Me and Frank received our Report Cards today. Here are the final scores:
