Robin's Journal
English couldn't be more boring.
Faerie Queene, is the name of the poem we read. We had to write a summary on it. It was sooooooooooo boring. I wanted to read, but someone always read before me. Science was boring, but I went on the board and put up a problem about finding chemical formulas. C

3. We took notes too. Man this is exciting.
In History, it was a different story. We had to present our reports today. I had to talk about Greek math. I started out by talking about Pythagoras and then went to the Golden Ratio, where I really impressed the audience by drawing diagrams and equations on the board. After that, I explained a bit about Archimedes and Zeno's paradox,
The Dichotomy. They liked it.
In band, we did pre game and half time. While we were playing The National Anthem, I played a dotted sixteenth and a half, when it should have been half and half. Oops. He got mad, but I didn't say a word!
I was working on my mousetrap car today. Well, I think I made it worse. I replaced one of the bamboo axles with a pencil. Then I tried using some aluminum wheels, which really sucked. As a matter of fact, my jar caps worked better. I have to make this thing as light as possible. I'm even thinking about making a whole new car. We went to Home Depot, after going to Monglian BarBQ, and picked up two packs of mousetraps. I even tried to combine the aluminum wheels with the caps. It was okay, but it made it way too heavy. I had to drill holes into the cylinders, which wasn't that easy. Oh well, I should have thought about it before.
I saw episode four of FLCL. Yeah, it was weird. That show is weird.
I realized I forgot my money today. At lunch I just bought some fries and a milk. Mr Hrbek asked me to join the mousetrap car race, but I declined. I thought about it, and in Mr. Worsencroft's class decided to join. In English, we read
another poem. In Denge's class, we saw a video about the Peloponnesian war. In band, we practiced our third show. Frank was talking about "425" on the bus. ??????
My mousetrap car from last year is still working pretty good. I want to try to make some adjustments to it, maybe use some ball bearings. I don't know. We'll see.
I finished my report on Greek mathematics. You can view it
HEREFrank is building an eggdrop contraption for Hrbek's class. This time, he's only allowed to use things from nature. When I did it, I was only allowed to use Milk cartons and carboard. Frank made what looks like a box out of sticks. He's gonna have to fit 3 eggs in it. I also have to touch up my mousetrap car. But I don't need to rush, since the thing's due in the end of October.
Around 6:00 I finished my mousetrap car update. I changed the tires, replaced the front wheel entirely, retaped the wire rod and added some new traction. This car can travel about 3.5 meters, maybe even more on a smooth wooden surface. According to Mr Hrbek's scoring method, I could get anywhere from a 30 to a 40. The car doesn't go that far on concrete, so hopefully we will work on some type of relatively smooth ground.
Frank is such an idiot. He just dropped a thermometer and all the mercury (Hg) spilled out. He even touched some. What a retard. Mom came a vacuumed it up. Hope I don't die from touching Hg!
Today, me and mom went out and looked at some printers. First we went to Petsmart to return a koi, then we went to PetLand.
We then went to Circuit City. They had a lot of Lexmarks and HPs. Nah. We were kind of interested in this $79.97 Epson printer they had. We decided to goto CompUSA. Yeah they had a good selection of HPs, Canons and Epsons. We were mostly interested in an Epson C84, about $80 also. Turns out the saleman told us it was out of stock. Okay, he tried to interest us in a $100 Epson 925. No way! It's way too complex. It had like a disk drive and stuff. I just need a simple printer! We then looked at canon. Yeah they had a $149.99 one, canon i850. Not bad. Small, cheap ink. Out of Stock. Forget it. We left and went to Sam's.
We had a power outage today! Around 9:30 everything shut down. Around 10:20, power was restored. We lit some candles. We got our flashlights, which took a while to find. I tried finding a radio, but it was no help. I tried using AIM on the cel phone, but that didn't work. Clark Haymond didn't respond! Around 10:20, power came back on. For some reason my network is back on Ad-hoc. Stupid. I asked Tripleshock (Ralph Desai) and he said some lighting hit a transformer and all power went out in Twinsburg. Oh well. It was the first outage in a while.
I had a dream. Very strange indeed. First, there was a huge flood in our back yard. Like, it was 5 feet high. There was fish swimming in it too. Koi to be exact. Sometimes the koi would flop onto the land, but when they went under water, they had beautiful colors. There were alot of dragonflies. Someone drove a car through our backyard and I yelled "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!".
Then, there was something to do with band. We had something where we met up at a picnic park and we got community service. Then, we were taken to some military school, where we unpacked our luggage. They said we were going to stay at the military school for two years. Everyone seemed excited but me. There was this one woman soldier, who took out some kind of harpoon. She threw some sort of dagger at a sliding door, puncturing a hole. Then she took the harpoon which had a hook on the end, and fired it exactly at the hole, which was like 100 feet away. I said I didn't want to go.
I was at a mall and we were going to eat. I had only two dollars with me. I wanted to goto some fancy restaraunt, but couldn't afford it. Then I went to McDonalds. For some reason, I saw the guy from the rec center. He worked there. There was a Queen Taco Bell right next to the Mcdonalds. It was so tiny. I waited for a long time. I wanted to get their 50 cent deal. There were some black people who cut me in line. I don't think I got my meal.
I went to Chinese school. Yeah, our teacher got mad at a girl for drawing in class. Then I went to SAT class where one of the kids said he was a communist. I said "Hey, so am I, comrade!"
Yeah, I saw the show
Knights of the Zodiac and well...I think it's not very good. It's not bad, but it ain't good. It's so old and it's theme is so cliched. The voice acting isn't that good either. Animation is okay. I give it 2/5.
I had a renewed interest in
Rage Against the Machine. They were such an agressive band. They had such powerful lyrics with political messages. I think they're communist.
Mom just took a splinter out of my hand. Yeah it hurt a little.
Okay, today in English, we took our Latin test and we took a sample ACT test where I got a 17/30. The teacher also said she really enjoyed my poem
Lenin's Tomb, and she wrote on it "I think we have a new Chaucer on our hands!".
We finished up our lab in chemistry. Then we took some notes. I saw a groud hog outside. Yeah, it was cool.
We saw a video in world history, about the Greeks. Amazingly, it had the same guy(Josiah Ober) from the Histroy Channel Doc we saw yesterday!
We practiced our second show today. We're going to
Nordonia. Yeah, it's going to be an interesting game. I hope we win. Or at least score.
Okay, we lost the game, 38 to 23. But that's okay. Nordonia's band wasn't as good as we thought. They had the eigth grade band play with them. They played like three songs. I think we were better. It drizzled alot. It was sooooooo crowded, I think every one from Twinsburg was there. Nordonia is closer than I thought. I sat with Richard on the bus. I called dad a lot of times. Richard offered me a Gobstopper, which I have never had before. Interesting. I really hate riding the bus. I always get a headache. It's so damn crowded.
Okay, I'm gonna put this in an orderly fashion.
English:Read some poems. I read about Sir Walter Raleigh.
Chemistry:Did a lab where we mixed some Fe with CuSO
4Histroy:Watched a history channel docutmentary about Sparta.
Band:Worked on show 3. Turns out we didn't learn it on time. We'll still do show 2.
Man, me and Dean had a long argument today over AIM. We talked about Chinese people and American people, and I even called Bobby a fockin' racist. I blocked him. I then signed onto Deans account and told him I was sorry and all. I think he forgave me.
Okay. In English today, I turned in my poem. Yeah, about three people actually did it. We then read a short poem. In chemistry, we did the "Mickey Mole" activity. Yeah, it was fun. Then we did a couple worksheets. Alec Conrad and Lindsey Heist came up to me for assistance. I went up to the board twice to put up some problems.
In History class, we talked about ancient Greece some. Did some review. Ate lunch. Came back. Talked some more. Then went to band.
Man was it cold. We learned the rest of show 3. Why can't people just be quiet? Ski got mad at some students again. I'm not joining band next year.
Well, I just found out I can print stuff to dad's office from our home computer! Neat how dad can just connect to his office through the internet. Anything's possible!
I just watched the California Recall Debate. Yeah, it was cool. Everyone talking over everyone else. Arnold did okay. I think he has a good chance.
I FORGOT TO WRITE YESTERDAY! I was so caught up with writing my poem, that I totally forgot about writing my blog. You can read my final draft here. I got a 100 on my chemistry test. A 99 on my english test. Today I found out I failed the history test. Okay, I got an 87. That's failing. Man, I am going to fail that class. I am going to fail Pearn's class. That's why I am doing the poem, which is 10 points. We had a sub in band yesterday. Chaos. A guy came in with M&Ms. Yeah, I got peanut. It was sheer chaos.
Today in English, we took a quiz on the Renaissance. Good thing I took some notes. I probably would have bombed the quiz. Ahsan was asking me to help him cheat. YEAH RIGHT! Man, we read a boring story. Yeah it was boring. In chemistry we took some notes about moles. Yeah, in history we went over the test and we began Ancient Greece. In band, we began to learn a new show. It sucks so much. Not the show, but us!! We just can't figure anything out. I'm not joining band next year.
Some girls came over at lunch to collect dues. Obviously I didn't have mine. I'm still going to graduate. I think they just make up that lie just to get people to pay up.
Yeah, I'm havin' dad print out my poem, since my printer sucks! Never buy a Lexmark. It's a piece of crap. Can't print crap. Thinking about getting an Epson. Just thinking.
WELL! I finally returned my Gold Cards today, but not before purchasing one myself! I also signed up for the SAT test, after procrastinating for a month. The deadline was three days from now for the November test!!!
Well, might as well tell you what my poem Lenin's Tomb is about. It takes place on a train, during the last years of the Cold War, in the Soviet Union. Six men are on their way to Lenin's Tomb. We have a Soviet Soldier, a Black Marketer, a Communist, a Peasant, a Neo-Fascist (originally a Siberian) and a beggar. The peasant tells a fable, about a sage who comes to a town and has a problem. Whoever can find a counterfeit coin among eight gold coins using a scale as few times a possible will be given the gold coins! Several men try, but only a boy is able to solve the problem!!
I had a dream last night. I dreamed about....Inuyasha again. Weird. I turned on the cartoon network, and they had some random lottery. There were like twelve different boxes on the screen and in each box was a different show. Some had Cartoon Network and some had Adult Swim. There was an advertisement for some channel that had Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network cartoons. There was an episode of Inuyasha on tv. The volume was loud, but the meter was down.
Weird. I just remembered, I had another dream. It was about a war. A war, where the general or officer kept shooting his own men. He would ask them "Who is willing to die for their country?", and then shoot whoever stood out. Soldiers were burying bodies and the officer kept shooting his own men.
I had a similar dream earlier, where soldiers were marching and all of a sudden an atomic bomb explodes nearby, killing the soldiers who were helplessly trying to escape the blast.
I plan to listen to my new anime CD today and make a new CD label. This new CD features music from
Slayers, Initial D, Ah! My Goddess and Revolutionary Girl Utena. This new anime CD makes it my fouth anime CD so far. The first one, the best of course, is my Cowboy Bebop-Inuyasha CD. The second is the Rurouni Kenshin soundtrack, one of the few classical CDs. Then there's the one I copied like two days ago that features .Hack//Sign.
Hey, check this out:
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is a fear of long words. I just found that out.
We went to Sixflags today! At around 1:30PM, mom took us to Subway to eat. Yeah, I had an Italian sub. We then went to Sixflags. Yeah, it WASN'T crowded. They already had stuff up for Fright Fest. Well, we first rode the Big Dipper. Then we rode Superman. We also rode the Double Loop, Villain, and Batman. We also rode the NOW SMOOTH Raging Wolf Bobs (Rage against the machine.) Yeah, we saw the dolphin show. We also visited the Bermuda Triangle Mission thing. Yeah, it was cool. The guy there was telling lies to the little kids. Yeah, it was funny. I laughed, like once. Yeah. Then we just walked around, me and Frank argued for a while. Then we rode X-Flight, and that was it. Yeah, I came out 10 minutes early.
I decided to do the extra credit assignment for Pearn's class. What we had to do was, write a poem similar to the Canterbury Tales. Well, I wrote a poem titled
Lenin's Tomb, about six men who goto visit Lenin's Tomb! We were supposed to have a description of at least six lines for each character, but mine goes well over six. It's already two pages front and back!
I woke up today at 9. I did some Chinese homework. Then I listened to some music. At around 11, I suddenly realized, I forgot to return my library book!!! Now, I got this book to help me on my Hittite project. It was due September 12. Well, I had totally forgotten about it!!! So I got on my bike and rode over to the library and returned the book and came back.
Hehehehe. Man is Frank mad. After Chinese school, during which I had a substitute in SAT class, Frank wanted to goto Sixflags. Man, he even had all the materials: Passes, Sweaters and the Celphone. But, yeah I was kinda tired, so I said "nahhh". Man was Frank Pissed!!!
I can't many anime songs that I like anymore. Probably because I already copied the best. Oh Well.
Okay, I have like 50 anime songs right now. My shared folder takes up about 1.5GB. Damn. I gotta start deleting stuff. Well, I have songs from series such as Slayers, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Initial D.
HI. Today's Friday! Which means....BAND! Well, lets start at morning. I had English. Exciting. We took the latin quiz. DAMN, I forgot what precipitous meant! Well, I didn't get a perfect. In chemistry, we took a test also. I did really good on it, I'm sure. That's all we did in Worsencroft's class. We took ANOTHER test in Denge's world history class. I did fair on it. Okay, I probably got an A. In band, we didn't go outside. We stayed in and practiced. Mom took us to the bus stop today because it was raining this morning, probably because of Hurricane Isabel. It's gonna be hell at the game today, against Ravenna. Hope we win!
I finished my anime CD last night. Okay, it features music from
.Hack//Sign, Gundam, and Big O!, and Dance Dance Revolution.
I just realized, I'm gonna miss IGPX today! SH*T!!!
I tried all afternoon to install our old Epson ActionPrinter L-1000 on my computer. It just won't work.
YEAH!!!! WE BEAT RAVENNA!!! Wow, what an exciting game!!!! We started out losing, with the score 7-9. But man, in that last 15 seconds, we scored a field goal. Everyone was cheering so loud, man you could barely hear yourself! When the star kicker, Zoltan, came to kick to ball, everyone went silent. The other band was playing heart beats. I was so nervous. He kicked and we SCORED!!! YEAH!! WHOOOOOOOHOOO!!! We played the fight song and then we went into post game. Yeah, we had our hats on backwards too! We played Memphis and everyone was celebrating! We beat Ravenna!!! 10-9!!!
In English class today, we went through the rest of the presentations and then red Le Morte Darthur, a really boring story. In chemistry, we just did a worksheet on chemical naming. And that was it. I helped some kids. In Denge's class, we just reviewed ancient China. Sean drew a Yin-yang on the board and I wrote it in Chinese. Then, in band, the eigth grade band came to practice for RBC band night. They did okay, not perfect. Oh well, don't care that much anyway. I'm not joining band next year. I brought my flute home, thinkin' about practicing our new music: Volcano and Satuday Night. Okay.
I downloaded a lot of anime songs today. Thinking about creating another CD. Yeah. We went out to eat. Me and Frank argued for a while. He wanted to goto Mongolia Barbeque. I said no. Let's goto Pizza Hut. Frank said "FINE!!". So we went. Well, it turns out they had 3 guys there who didn't know what they were doing and all we got was a salad and the toppings were stale and we waited for 30 minutes talking about Joshua Seth and the waitress came back and said dinner will be free and we decided to leave but mom decided to leave a tip and we went to Arby's where we ate the rest of our dinner.
I was downloading like 6 songs from the same user on Kazaa, and he sent me a message saying "one file at a time". I said (in my mind) "Who gives a fock?" and I continued to download. Hey, I don't care, as long as I get BigO!
Today was ordinary. In English we gave our presentations on Medieval weapons. It was okay. I talked about torture devices. In chemistry, me, Phil and Alec Conrad did a lab. Yeah, we put chemicals in water and watched them change. Yeah it was cool. In Denges we continued to learn about China. We saw a video (with our host Arizona Smith!). I wasn't as involved this time. Mr. Ski gave me a copy of my essay. He told me it was philosophical, and talked about atonal music. Intersting. He got very angry at the band, because they wouldn't shut up. If only the band would shut up.
I saw
IGPX today. Yeah it's not bad. Wish it was a little longer though. It's awesome. Sorry, I gotta talk about SD Gundam again. GOD, it's such an awful show! Let's see: Bad animation, bad acting, bad characters, bad plot, bad CGI, bad story, bad screenplay, bad theme song.....man, this show is everything but good! I also saw an episode or two of
Cowboy Bebop. Yeah Bebop is an awesome show. One of the best. Yep. Watch some Cowboy Bebop.
I downloaded several songs from .Hack/Sign. I might create a CD featuring it. I also did some research on David Blaine's 44 day feat without food. Okay, that's a little crazy, but I would like to see this be done!
Today was fun! We read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in English. We took more notes on naming compounds in Chemistry. Denges' class was the most fun. I got a 93% on my Hindu test. Not bad. We were learning about the Shang dynasty. I told every one how to pronounce the Chinese words right (Hu-ang, Chang, etc.). Well, lets just say they came close! I also went on the board and wrote some Chinese words. I wrote ZhongGuo. Mrs. Denges tried writing it. It was close! I will try to explain it a little more tomorrow! Ski said I have a B- because I didn't show up for Akron. Oh Well. I turned in my report today. That should bring it back up. But I still have a B- for this quarter. Damn.
Well, I think I'm gonna go play in my rock pile. There's alot of cross country kids there. Man, I can never get any privacy at that park! And it's usually very isolated there! Oh well, nothing I can do about it!
8.15PM:I went out to help mom change the pond water. It was bacteria infested. Probably from some lilies mom got. Oh well. Hope the fish don't get sick. I missed open house. Oh well. Mom couldn't be at two places at once anyway!
I thought about this problem for a while today. Suppose we have eight coins and one of them is counterfeit. The counterfeit coin weighs slightly less. You have only one scale. How could you find the counterfeit, using the scale as less as possible?
My original solution: Obvious. Use the scale 3 times. Divide the stack of 8 coins into four and four. Weigh each pile. Find the lighter pile and divide it in half. Weigh those again. Divide it again, one on one. The last one remaining is the counterfeit.
Well, I found a better solution. My New solution: Clever. Use scale only twice. Okay, split the pile of 8 coins into 2 and 6. Take the pile of 6 and divide it in half, 3 and 3. Weigh each stack of 3. They can either be the same weight or they can be different. If they are different, that means one of the stacks contains the coin. Okay then, take any two random coins from the lighter pile, and weigh them. The two can either be the same weight or they can be different. If one is lighter, great you found it. If the two coins weigh the same, then obviously the last one remaining must be the counterfeit!
Now suppose each pile of 3 weighs the same. THen just weigh the other two remaining coins to find the counterfeit. There, using the scale only twice.
At school right now. Still workin' on me and Lindsey's Medieval weaponry project. Almost done. I finished the written part yesterday. Damn, my stomach hurt this morning, don't know why. It's better now. I packed a sandwich. In science we learbed about naming compounds. In history we took a test on India. I wrote an essay "On Hinduism". We read about Ancient China. HAHAHAHAHAHAAA! I just have to laugh at how those Americans pronounce Chinese words! Shang and Huang. My god. They really need a lesson in Chinese. In band, Ski told me to write a 500 word essay "On Music". If he wants and essay "On Music", he's going to get one!
Okay, today I tallied up all the songs I have copied to CDs so far. So far, I have 107 classical songs, and 281 rock songs. My transition to rock began at the time I downloaded KaZaA. Before that, I was copying songs from CDs. Most of the songs from CDs were classical. It took a long time to make a CD before KaZaA. But once I downloaded Kazaa, I began to download songs at record pace. I burned FOUR CDs the first day I got Kazaa. The first major rock Cd I made was my famous JPop Cd. That took a very long time to compile, since I didn't have kazaa. When I first got kazaa, I downloaded a lot of Contemporary and Pop music. I then transitioned into country. After country, came punk rock. Then hard rock, which is what I'm listening to right now.
Currently, the most downloaded rock artist is Rage Against the Machine (19), followed by Godsmack (13) and Linkin' Park (6).
I finished my essay "On Music". I wrote about how music was the universal language and how music can never die. I ended it with "May the musical revolution live on!". This is a very dynamic essay. I don't think I've ever written anything like this before! Just hope Ski likes it!
10PM: I went into the garage and guess what I saw? My cat Grey Mimi with an almost dead mouse! I also found a mouse head lying next to him. GROSS!!! He at half a mouse. I took the living mouse and put it outside. I took the mouse head with it's brains gushing out, and threw it in the garden, hoping it would decay. Well one things for sure, I'm not letting Grey Mimi on my bed for a while!
I woke up. Had some boiled eggs for breakfast. Put some Proactiv on. Frank is kind of sick today. I'm eating a Jolly-Rancher. Frank is coughing a lot. He spit on the floor. He really is sick.
eSmartStart is a pretty good web hoster. They let you choose if you want banners or pop-ups. I chose pop-ups because I have a pop-up remover and so it doesn't bother me. All those hosts that have "NO ADS", are really crappy and usually break down and are really slow. That's the thing with
Portland. I just hate banners. I just want a host that gives me FTP and NO BANNERS.
Me and mom went shopping today. We went to the garden store and bought a little turtle statue for our new pond. Went to Sam's just to buy some vitamins, baby back ribs and swimming pants. And finally, we went to Catalano's (Formerly known as Massara's) to get some deli meat. I may pack for lunch. I also got a new Casio Calculator. I'm finishing me and Lindsey Flenner's report on Medieval Weaponry.
Well, I downloaded about 20 songs today from KaZaA. That's the first time I download that many songs from KaZaA in almost a month. Got some Godsmack, Chili Peppers, ACDC and Linkin' Park. KaZaA users are being sued by the RIAA. Oh well. They won't catch me(that's what they all say!). I got a song from Rob Zombie. For some reason, some Kazaa files are corrupt. The song plays for about 5 seconds and then all you hear is high pitched screeching.
Okay, I used Real ONE to burn a CD and you know what? It sucks!!! It didn't record anything. There goes one CD. So I used Windows Media, and it works just fine. I'm never using Real again! This CD features Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I had a dream. I was driving down a long road, following dad's blue car. There were trees on the side. Dad started to go ahead very far, and I could barely see him. He turned right. I did the same. I came to a colossal brown dirt hill. I started to climb up it. It was very steep. Every once in a while a rock would break off. I finally reached the top, and there was some kind of amusment park. It had a lot of Hindus. I found dad.
Then, I was in my home. There was the fat guy from Batman. He committed some crime. I got sprayed by a skunk and I just layed there not moving. Frank came with a hose a cleaned me. Told Frank not to use the computer, for fear it may be monitered. "Inuyasha-D" got arrested outside our home, and we began to run for the woods. That was the end of my dream.
I watched some TV this morning. They have a new show on ABC Family, called
Daigunder. Well let me say, this show is dumb, it's cliched and it has a bad plot. Damn, for second there I thought I was watching an episode of Medabots or something! This show is definitely going to get canceled. A little kid with robots battles other robots. Man, this show is sooo ORIGINAL! I give it
1/5. Saw an episode of Digimon too. What is this, the tenth season? I saw an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh. Yeah, it was okay. Yeah, I saw about five minutes of
SD Gundam and I just said NOO!!
I'm bakin' a pizza right now. Man, portland is such an unreliable server! It keeps going down! I really like their offers, but man, you get what you pay for (nothing!). See if I can transfer this to blogspot. I want to find a better host. But it's hard. I signed on to Tripod,
CLICK HERE TO SEE THE HORROR, and as you may have guessed, yes there are those FOCKING ads! So I tried
eSmartStart.com. Visit my site
HERE. I said: Man, this isn't that bad! No banners, plus FTP, PLUS a fairly fast server. Not bad. Not bad at all. Mom likes to go online and look for Koi.
At Chinese school we learned about India. And in SAT class, I finished 25 problems in 40 minutes, which is way too slow. I need to speed up. 9PM: Mom gave me a hair cut today.
I am writing this from the school. I did some research on medieval weaponry. I found some cool stuff on torture. I forgot to wear my Band Shirt AGAIN!! Good thing Cory Boyes let me borrow his sweater, otherwise I wouldn't have Third Quarter. I won't forget again.
I forgot three things today:
- My Band Shirt
- My Pen and Pencil
- My Lunch Money
I don't know what's wrong with me. I never forgot those things! It's that rock music. I wrote a note to remind myself next time. The note went like this:
BRING YOUR MONEY.
PENS.
IF TODAY is FRIDAY, WEAR YOUR BAND SHIRT. YOU MAY GET A
NOSEBLEED TODAY
Next week I won't forget. I almost starved at lunch. I didn't get my free donut today. DAMN, I should've. Luckily I had 75cents. I bought a chocolate poptart. Denny gave me his cookie. Scottie gave me his sandwich wrap.
In English class today, we took a latin quiz and we went to the computer lab to research on Medieval stuff. Then, in Chemistry, we took an element quiz. I most likely got a 100%. In World History, we reviewed chapter 3. Denges asked me why Buddha was made fatter, and I said because he represented prosperity. In band, we rehearsed our Akron music (which I will not attend!). Well, we sucked at it. We ran through our show we're going to do tonight. It wasn't bad. I messed up on the dance a little. We're going to
Kent.
I decided to archive my site today. You can see the archive link. You can visit the archive folder here:
ARCHIVES. I created another subdomain on port5.com. I want to create a site about myself. It's at
robinhu.port5.com.
UPDATE:
I changed my archive directory. Since it caused too many problems, my archive files will be stored on my Parent directory. I decided to remove the password. I was lazy to type it, and I don't think a lot of people will read this anyway.
WoooooHooooo!
WE BEAT KENT! 6-25! YES! I talked with Richard on the bus. He's also in orchestra with Frank. Yeah we talked about video games and nuclear war. It was fun. Today was an exciting game. We scored so many points and played the fight song so many times. I also talked to Martin, and Jeff Bolles made me and Bobby sing with him. The bus driver lost his keys so we had to wait a while. But he found it and everything was back to normal. Also, someone was taken away by the ambulance. Don't know why. I shouted "GET IN LINE!". First time I ever shouted in public.
Alright! I password locked my blog page so only I can enter. Afterall, it is a private journal. Unless someone can hack into the page, it's unviewable unless you know the password.
In English 11, we took our pictures and we had a moment of silence as well. I took my glasses off for these pictures for the first time since kindergarten. We read the
Pardoner's Tale. Yeah it was cool. Then, in chemistry, we did a lab where we had to use bunsen burners. Yeah, it was cool. We heated some magnesium. Yeah, it was awesome. It was so
ooooooo exciting. I really thought the sparker was neat. I really want one of those things. In Denges' class, we talked about Indian civilization again. I told Hasinski I wasn't going to Akron. He took it okay I guess. Hope he's not mad. C2H5OH == CH2CH3OH.
I wrote a letter to grandma today. 911 anniversary. Man, The Powerpuff Girls movie sucks. Frank is about to goto some meeting in Hudson where he'll play his violin. I'll just stay home and eat a sandwich. I want to start packing lunch soon. The school lunch sucks. Like I said about a million and one times, hept.port5.com is finally up and so is the FTP. But for some reason, the server is really slow right now. WHY??!! They could be just a LITTTTLE faster. I created a Music page on my site. It has only four songs and they are compressed so they sound like crap. Click
HERE to see it. 8PM: I just installed WS_FTP and I think it sucks. I'm currently using FTP Surfer and I think it's really good. I created a picture of me to put on this site.
Mom brought me some gears from her factory. Those were really cool. I also made some lemonade today. Four Lemons, and about 1.5cups of sugar.
Yo mama is so fat, she went to the doctor and when he asked for her weight, she said "You want it in kilograms or tons?"!
Q33NY--Q33NY
Oh yeah! FTP is up, and I can finally upload crap onto hept.port.com. I goto remember,
STREAMING, STREAMING!!. Streaming audio on Flash recompresses, which makes the Mp3 file really small. So here are the steps to compress audio on Flash 5:
- Import Mp3 file.
- Select the First layer. Select Frame 1.
- Open the Sound Panel.
- Select the Mp3 file. CHOOSE STREAMING!
- Add frames until the end of the song.
- Click "Export movie"
- This should work!
Well, the bus was a little hectic today, but hey, it was okay! We did rear door evacuation. Yeah, most of the kids would have been dead. Then some girl said she couldn't find her purse, but the busdriver interpreted that someone stole it! So she asked everyone to search for it, and no one was to get off until she had her purse! Then they brought a search warrant on the bus. Each kid got off. About halfway through, her purse was on the ground. GOD! Some people are stupid.
Kerri asked me if she was a bitch, and I said yes!
I went out to pick some asparagus beans today. Man, we have a good crop this year! And our melons are growing extremely well. We may have a surplus here!
Check out my family tree:
Family tree. I got a new pump part from Weldon Pump, where my mom works. Yeah, it was cool. Played pingpong with Frank. Had mom write a note to exempt me from the Akron Rubber Bowl Game. Thank GOD! Okay, I don't have a choice really. Did some research on
Perpetual Motion. Yeah, It's real interesting.
In English, we read the Nun's Priest's Tale, from the Canterbury Tales. Yeah it was about a Cock named Chanticleer. We had a fire drill in Chemistry class today. I can see Mr. Worsencroft is trying to make the class fun. Wow, we talked about Hinduism and Buddhism in Denges' class. I told her I was atheist. She said that most athiest people are really agnostic. Yeah, I'm gonna create a band and call it NOSTIX.
YES!!!Finally, I can post this stuff onto Port5.com. I know, it's
been like two days, but I was worried for a sec that Portland.co.uk was shutting down. They're such a good host! No ads and FTP, it's like a dream!
Wait a sec. Damn, their FTP is still down! Gonna have to wait a while. You can view my website now! hept.port5.com.
School. Uhhh. We read the Canterbury tales. I thought it was kind of neat. Also did a quick lab in Chemistry. I was partners with Phil Lagnese. I got materials for the SAT test. I thought I might give it a try, even though I never took the PSAT, which I should've!
In History, we did a couple worksheets on Ancient India. I got a Jolly Rancher for coming to class on time. Brandon Vondrak was being funny as usual. At lunch I sat with Dave Diccico, Dan Godinsky, Scott Bergen, and a kid named Denny [asian].
Band practice was tiresome. We learned the entire second show. I got almost 80% of my music memorized. Still play alot of wrong notes. Oh well. At least I played something. I still have an 'A'. I still haven't sold any gold cards. I'm thinking of returning them as soon as possible. Don't wanna join band next year. It's going to suck. Didn't practice my music for the Akron Game. I'm thinking of not going. Maybe I can get an excuse. Last year was stupid. I'm not going this year. That's final.
Reading
Canterbury Tales by Geoffry Chaucer. Listening to oasis. Yeah they're good.
Yeah, I watched FLCL episode 2 today. It was okay, but it was really weird. Too offbeat.
September 11th is my picture day. A day for mourning!
Anime Reviews
Sonic X
| 3. This anime series does not appeal to me that much. The animation is not bad, but plot and characters are bad. Not one of the best.
|
Shaman King
| 2. The animation of this Fox series is very different from conventional anime seen on TV. I saw 5 minutes, and I decided this show will not make it to popularity.
|
FLCL
| 4. I saw episode 2 and I would have to say, FLCL is not a bad show. Notice I didn't say it was good either. Still way too offbeat.

.Hack/Sign
| 4. I thought the animation was superb in this series on CN. It has a complex storyline, but it's enjoyable to watch. I love the cinema screen!

Damn.
Port5.com is still down. I downloaded Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash 5. It took a while to figure out how the heck this software worked. Check out some flash objects I made
here. I signed on to
0catch.com. Yeah, it sucks. The Port5 website said they would be up soon. Still can't figure out this stupid Flash thing.
I listen to alot of Oasis. God, I hate band. Goto remind myself: DON'T JOIN BAND NEXT YEAR. Or at least don't join Spring. I don't know, I hate both semesters. Frank downloaded episode 2 of FLCL from KaZaA. I didn't watch it yet. It was kind of weird at night, I was just laying there, and suddenly I hear these little voices. Oh well.
Mr. Worsencroft, my Chemistry teacher, had a conversation with me today. Here's probably how it went:
Worsencroft: "How was your weekend?"
Me: "It was okay. I went to a Chinese school."
W: "Really. Now, you go here for what reason?"
Me: "Well, to learn Chinese!"
W: "My guess is your parents were born in China."
Me: "Yes. I was born here."
Okay, I don't want to continue.
Well, I practiced my flute for once. Mom said I was good. I can play Lord of the Rings, Rurouni Kenshin and even Oasis. WoooHooo! Okay that was gay.
We may be going to nuclear war. Just kidding. Me and Frank are talking about energy conservation. Free energy from the vaccuum. Frank is going to explain his power system. Frank's perpetual energy machine is dumb. Power goes in to power a giant wheel in the water. A pump releases water onto the wheel, thus allowing the wheel to continue generating power. This idea is too impractical.
I have to admit, Frank has a very creative mind. Today, he drew a really cool picture on the bus. But he erased it later today. Yay. Okay, the picture was kind of dumb. Right now, Frank is talking about the Science fair. He made a project about motion and also did project on the magic triangle. Also did one on optical illusions. FCds (Foldable CDs) and the V-system??? What NEXT??? FRANK!!! Of course you didn't win, fag. Your idea really was dumb.
Well, today is Saturday. You figured that out from the post date. I woke up at 9:20. At some breakfast. Yay. Watched Yu-Gi-Oh!. Yay. Then did my Chinese homework. I ate sandwiches for lunch. Argued with Dean on AIM again. Man, this idea of a journal is pretty gay. During class, the teacher asked whatever happened to all those treasures in China? I said they're in Taiwan. Some kids laughed. I was right, it turned out. I was one of the last kids to leave SAT class. Yay. Came home and tried to find a free webhost. Turns out
Portland.co.uk is not as reliable as I thought. Signed up to
Hostdepartment.com. Ok, it has FTP, but I hate the long URL. Got an account on
eSmartStart. Everything is good EXCEPT for the banner. Hopefully
Port5.com will be up and running soon. It's the best host. No ads and FTP. That's all. Is that so much to ask?? I'm listening to P.O.D. right now.
Wow! Today was an exciting day. I took three tests today, and I think I did fairly well on each of them. I took a Latin bases test for Ms. Pearn, a Chemistry test for Mr. Worsencroft and a History test for Denges. Denges is a really good teacher. Once again we marched in band. Then, right after school, my mom picked me up to take me to get an
echocardiogram. We arrived late, but it turned out we still waited an hour. In the room, they hooked me up to this ultrasound device. It was awesome! I could see my heart. There were no problems. I also watched the movie
Mission to Mars (
bad movie).
I went to band at about 6:25. Our team played Maple Heights. And amazingly, our team won!!! YES!!! 16-0
Today, I forgot to wear my band shirt. I was thinking about just admitting it to the teacher. But a girl in band, Stacy Rhors, was offering band shirts to anyone who forgot one. Well, I asked for one and she gave me one. Wow, lucky day. I got third quarter!
Today was an ordinary day at school. I rode bus 28 with Frank. Finally, I got off bus 14. It was so crowded. Plus, my friend Cory Boyes rides bus 28. So it ain't so bad. My old bus driver drives it. We took a test in Mrs. Pearn's class. I don't think I did well. In science we did experiments in chromatography. Yeah, it was cool. Didn't get to talk to Dean today. Too bad. Yesterday I gave my report on the Hittites in Mrs Denges' class. I was real nervous, but I got an 'A'. Band was the usual. Marched around. Reminder: Don't join band next year. Godsmack is my favorite artist. So is Rage against the Machine. Peace. Long live communism.
